Proctor360 Certification Exam Rules

This is a list of all rules to be aware of before sitting for your proctored exam through Proctor360.
Please read carefully before scheduling your test
Candidates must schedule their testing time/date a minimum of 48 hours in advance. Testing candidates showing up more than 15 minutes late for their established exam time will be declared a no-show and must be rescheduled.
ID Authentication: Must have a physical copy of your ID. First Name, Last Name, Matching Photo, and valid expiration date. Must be government-issued. If the ID does not meet these criteria but has a different surname/nickname, you may proceed but the team will later on evaluate your identification and SailPoint will reach out if they discover any issues. If the ID does not match whatsoever, the proctor will not allow you to proceed. Please reach out to support.sailpoint.com with any questions or concerns before sitting the exam.
Materials: No materials.
The desk must be completely clear of all materials and additional monitors. If you cannot move additional monitors, the monitors must be covered up with a towel/blanket and shown to proctor to ensure it is not being used. Only 1 screen is allowed when taking the exam. You may not switch between windows while taking the exam. This will result in the proctor ending your exam. No sticky notes or visible papers with writing can be out. You must test in a chair with a solid surface
Restroom Breaks: Restroom breaks are not allowed unless a special accommodation has been requested and approved by SailPoint Technologies before sitting the Exam. The duration of such approved breaks will be pre-determined and communicated to the proctors accordingly.
Additional Exam Rules:
- No access to or use of a cellular phone or any device that connects to a cellular network or the Internet other than the approved webcam device being used by the online proctor during the exam and the computer that you are using to take the exam
- No access to or use of electronic devices of any kind other than the approved devices identified above
- No recording or camera equipment of any kind other than the approved webcam device being used by the online proctor to record video and audio of your exam session
- No talking or communicating with anyone other than an online proctor
In addition, these actions are strictly prohibited:
- Discussing, transmitting, distributing, advertising, or selling exam content by any means including web postings, discussion forums, chat rooms, study guides, etc.
- Possession and/or use of recording devices to acquire secure test materials before, during, or following the administration of a test
- Reproduction of test materials by any means, including reconstruction through memorization
- Storage and use of test materials as unauthorized preparation for test takers
- Providing answers, discussing exam content, or assisting test takers before, during, or after the testing event
- Any attempt to alter exam results
- Any attempt to enroll for an exam without holding its stated prerequisite certifications
- Using falsified or altered certificates, score reports, or other documents or electronic media to misrepresent certification status
- No other applications may be open or running in the background other than those provided explicitly for the online proctored exam
- No food or beverages are allowed in the testing area except for a small drink
- Do not wear jackets, hoodies, hats, ties, or scarves when taking the exam unless for religious or health reasons
- You must be alone in the room with no additional persons
- You must remain seated for the duration of the test and may not leave the room
- You must follow all instructions from the online proctor
Proctors are authorized to pause or stop your exam at any time upon detecting any testing irregularity.

The exam will automatically end once you have answered enough questions correctly or incorrectly. Once you reach the threshold of correct or incorrect number of questions answered, you will automatically receive a pass or fail result. At the end of the online examination, you must submit your exam by clicking on "Exit Exam". You will receive feedback on your provisional results by email and within 30 minutes of exiting the exam. These results cannot be considered final until they have been verified by the —-- following an exam status report from Proctor 360. Final verified results will be communicated by SailPoint Technologies within 5 business days of taking the online exam.
If you do not receive notification of your verified result from SailPoint Technologies within 5 business days of the exam, you should contact support.sailpoint.com.
