Identity Security Cloud is SailPoint's next-generation identity security solution. It encompasses and builds on features and functions from IdentityNow. The release notes cover both Identity Security Cloud and IdentityNow features.

New features

Platform

Configuration Hub Promote, Cross-tenants config migration is now available in production. The main purpose of the promote capability is to expedite migration of configuration changes between environments, reduce manual work, and reduce misconfigurations.

New Features:

  • Tenant Connection - grant permission to access configuration backups between tenants.
  • Backup List - enhanced menu with the list of connected tenants.
  • Cross-Tenants Configuration Migration - deploy backups of configuration settings from another tenant.
  • Global configuration substitution rules - system pre-configured logic for attribute value substitution, for draft creation, to reduce the manual adjustments of config settings which are required when comparing / migrating configurations between different environment.
  • JSON Change Log - list of attribute value changes between target tenant configuration and config backup.
  • Easy filtering for objects with reference issues.
  • Edit View with Highlighted JSON Changes - interactive JSON diff view of the draft changes vs. live tenant configuration.

Enhancements

IDN Provisioning

Sources in source owner campaigns will no longer display the identity count during the campaign's creation. The number of identities included in the campaign can be viewed in the campaign preview.

SaaS Connectors

SailPoint is pleased to announce the following enhancements in the SCIM 2.0 SaaS Connector:

  • The SCIM 2.0 SaaS Connector now supports the Explicit Attribute Request to get the required schema attributes when a specific SCIM server does not return all of the attributes. For more information, refer to Aggregation Settings.
  • The SCIM 2.0 SaaS Connector now supports additional OAuth 2.0 authentication settings for the SCIM servers where the custom OAuth Request Parameters and OAuth Headers can be provided for authentication. The OAuth Headers to Exclude and OAuth Body attributes to Exclude configuration can be used to remove the standard OAuth parameters from the access token generation request.   • The SCIM 2.0 SaaS Connector now supports additional or custom token type that can be used in the API Token authentication. For more information, refer to API Token.
  • The SCIM 2.0 SaaS Connector now supports additional authentication configuration for the Content-type and the HTTP Accept header. For more information, refer to Additional Settings.
  • The SCIM 2.0 SaaS Connector now supports provisioning of extended attributes.

Connectivity - Linux

The SailPoint Linux Connector is now certified with Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9.2.
