SailPoint Accelerated Application Management (SAAM) can provide customers with visibility into the applications that are running in their environment. This includes commercial business applications (such as Salesforce, Workday and others); applications developed in-house; and unsanctioned applications (often referred to as shadow IT applications).

SAAM can also help customers get applications under governance quickly with a library of pre-built connectors. Finally, it includes SailPoint technical resources to assist with the configuration of those applications (including those accounts within certification campaigns and the actions to execute when a leaver event occurs, for example).

Features

  • SailPoint discovery connectors (currently including Entra, Ping, Okta, and ServiceNow CMDB) bring into ISC a consolidated inventory of known applications.
  • A collection of named, pre-built “quick compliance” connectors that can be quickly set up as sources in ISC.
    • Browser extension (currently supported on Chrome, Safari, and Edge) that collects activity data when a user interacts with an application whether that application is known (integrated in the IDP), unknown (not integrated in the IDP), or unsanctioned (unknown). NOTE: Browser extension does not differentiate between personal applications and business applications. Customers are responsible for obtaining consent and/or notifying users about potential personal data collection and processing.
    • IDP integration (currently includes Entra and Okta) for discovering known applications.
  • An inventory of known and unsanctioned (unknown) applications and information about those applications.
  • Out-of-the-box dashboards that provide insights into the inventory of applications
  • Activity data associated with those applications (where available)
  • Low-touch integrations for collecting application data based on an administrator’s interaction with that application
  • Support for custom applications that are accessed via a browser
  • User activity logs for tracking
