GenAI Descriptions for Entitlements Update

Problem

GenAI Descriptions for Entitlements has proven to be an effective solution in suggesting meaningful descriptions for the most common sources. However, the feature can display performance issues with more niche sources. This can be due to a lack of contextual information from the source, or a particular industry vertical's vernacular and acronyms.

Solution

This release is intended to deliver greater value by allowing users to inject specific industry terms and acronyms to allow the solution to suggest higher quality descriptions based on customer input, improving description quality and acceptance.

As you are likely painfully aware, many entitlements lack descriptions, making it more difficult to know exactly what they represent. Having descriptions for entitlements improves overall effectiveness of Identity Security Cloud by providing context to identity objects for access request approvers and access certifiers to improve overall decision making.

Who is affected? 

All SailPoint® Identity Security Cloud Business Plus customers will now have the enhancement to GenAI Descriptions for Entitlements feature.
