File Access Manager 8.4 Service Pack 5 Released!

We are excited to announce our File Access Manager 8.4 Service Pack 5 is now available!

This Service Pack include some really new cool stuff, with Highlights like:

1. NTLM Proxy Authentication support – 8.4 Service Pack 5 of FAM supports now Proxy Authentication capabilities, this is included along with a helper Tool to facilitate its configuration.
   
   
2. Exchange Online updates for Cmdlet deprecations - On September 15th, 2024, Microsoft deprecated certain Exchange Online Admin Cmdlets that were used by File Access Manager Exchange Online integration. The deprecation of these Cmdlets ONLY affected Activity Monitoring functionality of the File Access Manager Exchange Online integration. FAM code for this Service Pack already addresses the deprecated Cmdlets.
   
   
3. ElasticSearch now uses Temurin OpenJDK (JRE) by Adoptium
   
   
4. Improved performance for Data Privacy Scans & Data Classification processes.

And lots of other stuff!

Please note with the release of 8.4 SP5, we will no longer be issuing 8.2 Service Packs (only Limited Support by now). So we encourage you to upgrade to our latest release.
