File Access Manager 8.4 Service Pack 4 & 8.3 Service Pack 8 Released!

We are excited to announce our File Access Manager 8.4 Service Pack 4 and 8.3 Service Pack 8 are now available!

These Service Packs include some really new cool stuff, with Highlights like:

1. .NET 8 upgrade – Starting with 8.4 Service Pack 4, File Access Manager has been upgraded with the latest Long-Term-Support Microsoft's .NET 8 Framework. Please make sure to follow the documentation provided for a successful upgrade.
   
   
2. Data Classification Policy Scope Isolation - Now FAM applications can have a delta scan that should be based on the set application scope of the policy.
   
   • Delta Scan: The DC task will only scan recently modified folders (last modified from last crawl).
   • Full Scan: The DC task will re-scan all folders in the DC scope.
   
   
3. Improved performance for Data Privacy Scans & DFS Crawl processes.

And lots of other stuff!

Please note with the release of 8.4, we will no longer be issuing 8.2 Service Packs (only Limited Support by now). So we encourage you to upgrade to our latest release.
