FAM Important Update Regarding Microsoft SharePoint Online Auditing

We hope this message finds you well. We wanted to inform you about an important update regarding SharePoint Online (SPO) Tenants for FAM, which may impact its usage and workflows (e. g. Activity Monitoring).

Microsoft recently introduced a new restriction affecting FAM’s ability to monitor SharePoint Online tenants. This change requires users to enable the audit recording feature for both user and admin activities. As per Microsoft's guidelines, it may take approximately one hour for the changes to take effect once the audit recording feature is enabled. However, some users have reported seeing activities from SPO shortly after restarting the FAM’s Activity Monitor.
