Enhancement: Privileged Entitlements

Description

We’re enhancing visibility and control over privileged entitlement requests by providing administrators with dedicated reporting capabilities and improved approval workflows.

This improvement addresses customer requests for better oversight of high-risk access requests, helping organizations maintain stronger security postures and compliance requirements.

This release introduces predefined reports specifically for privileged entitlements and enhanced approval workflows with visual indicators for privileged access requests.

Problem

Currently, administrators lack dedicated reporting capabilities for privileged entitlement access requests, making it difficult to track and audit these high-risk permissions. Additionally, approvers in the workflow don’t have clear visual indicators when reviewing requests for privileged entitlements, which can lead to less informed decision-making around sensitive access.

Solution

We’ve introduced two key enhancements:

1. Predefined Privileged Entitlement Reports: Administrators can now run two specialized reports:

• All Access Requests for Privileged Entitlements
• Access Requests for Privileged Entitlements without Expiration Dates

1. Enhanced Approval Experience: Approval cards for privileged entitlement requests now display a Privileged badge, providing immediate visual context to help approvers make more informed decisions.

Who is affected?

• Primary: ISC administrators who manage privileged entitlements and need reporting capabilities.
• Secondary: Approvers in workflows handling privileged entitlement requests.
• Customer Profile: Organizations with strict governance requirements for high-risk access, compliance-focused customers, and those managing high-security environments
