Enhancement: Data Access Security Resource Selector Redesign

Overview

We are thrilled to announce a significant upgrade to the Resource Selector experience in Data Access Security. Based on direct user feedback, we have redesigned the resource selection interface used in Forensics and other key screens to make finding and selecting resources faster and more intuitive.

Problem

Previously, users navigating the Resource Selector encountered several friction points that slowed down their workflows:

• Limited Searchability: There was no option to enter free text to help users quickly search and navigate to a desired resource.
• Navigation Constraints: The selection window was very small, making it difficult to navigate through deep or complex folder structures.

Solution: A New “Browse and Select” Experience

To address these challenges, we are introducing a new Browse and Select Resources overlay. This update transforms the resource selection process into a user-friendly experience built to handle large, complex resource structures effortlessly.
