Description

The CIEM Sources CSP error flyout displays the cloud service provider errors. CSP errors include errors such as insufficient access for CIEM to retrieve cloud resources. It is important to ensure CIEM permissions are correctCustomers must ensure CIEM has the appropriate permissions for CIEM to retrieve cloud resource and/or cloud activity data.

Additionally, the CIEM MySP widget provide immediate visibility into the errors. - and navigation to the CIEM Source. Customers may open the errors directly by opening the ISC Source.

Problem

ISC customers and implementers configure CIEM sources to connect to CSPs. However, a successful source “Test Connection” does not mean the Cloud Service Provider is configured correctly. Incorrect CSP configuration hinders and potentially prevents CIEM’s data collection.

Solution

The CIEM MySailPoint widget will now enable customers to view a count of collection errors. Customers may navigate from the error to the CSP Source. On the CIEM scopes page customers see errors per scope. Depending on the source these errors are per Azure subscription, GCP project, or AWS account.

Who is affected?

All CIEM customers with MySailPoint widget.
