Deprecation of Atlassian Server Connector & Atlassian Server Jira Service Management (SDIM)

We have an important update for customers who have integrated the Atlassian Suite Server applications with IdentityIQ via the SailPoint OOTB Connectors.

Atlassian has recently announced the end of support for Atlassian Server, scheduled for 15th February 2024. You can read more about Atlassian's announcement here

Deprecation & End-of-Life (EOL) Dates

In response to Atlassian's announcement, we are deprecating the following SailPoint connectors associated with Atlassian Server:

• Atlassian Suite Server Connector
• Atlassian Server Jira Service Management (SDIM)

The deprecation of these connectors will be effective in IdentityIQ 8.2p6 and all future releases of IIQ (applicable for version & patch releases). However, existing applications/sources will continue to function until the End of Life (EOL) date on 15th February 2025. Beyond this date, these connectors will not be shipped in the IIQ releases (version and patch).

During the deprecation period new enhancements, bug fixes and support will not be available for these connectors. To know more about SailPoint's Deprecation & EOL policies, please visit our compass community page

How It Impacts You

For those with active applications/sources (configured sources in IdentityIQ) of 'Atlassian Suite Server Connector' or 'Atlassian Server Jira Service Management,' there will be no immediate impact. These applications will continue to function as before until the SailPoint EOL date.

However, please note that the option to configure new applications/sources of Atlassian Server connector and Atlassian Server Jira Service Management from the IdentityIQ will be removed.
