Deprecation: Out of Date Harvester Services

This is a notice for our IdentityIQ AI customers who utilize Harvester.

A communication was sent out to a select group of customers on August 22nd, 2025, notifying them that we’ve identified that one or more of their Virtual Appliances (VAs) are communicating with endpoints that are going to be deprecated on August 29, 2025. Once the endpoints are removed, this may cause them to experience service interruptions to activities related to Harvester, which also impacts AI related features.

If you are affected by these changes, please refer to the resolution steps below:

Why is this happening?

This is due to pre-existing errors on the VA or within your environment, which can include network or firewall errors. Please check your VAs for any active health notifications or indicators and resolve them.

What actions do I need to take?

  • Check your VA version
    • If the version is older than “CCG nnnn_1073_nnn”, your VA is not updating correctly and needs attention.
  • Check for active VA health indicators
    • Navigate to: Admin → Connections → Virtual Appliances → Details (Cluster) → VA ID
    • Look for any alerts or issues and resolve them as needed.
  • Reboot the VA
    • In many cases, a simple reboot can resolve the issue.
    • If issues persist, refer to the VA Health indicator for next steps.
  • The issue is with a standby/inactive VA
    • Consider shutting it down and rebuilding a new VA

To avoid service interruptions, please take the actions noted above by Friday, August 29, 2025. If you experience issues after the deprecation date, please raise a ticket with technical support, and reference “IdentityIQ VA endpoint deprecation” so that we can assist you in troubleshooting.
